TAG GUN IMPLEMENT TOOL TROUBLE SHOOTING

  • Unit not actuating
    a. Check if the input air supply is correct.
    b. Check the pneumatic tubing connections.
  • Tag fastener not pulling down
This could happen due to the tag gun trigger not getting fully pressed.
    a. Make sure there is gap between the tag gun trigger and the TGIT-9 puller-shaft [See Fig. C].
    b. Increase the airflow by turning the forward / rear flow control valve in an anti-clockwise direction.
    c. If same problem still persists, increase the air pressure by adjusting air pressure regulator.
    d. Incase there is no gap between the puller-shaft of the unit and the tag gun trigger, you may increase the gap by adjusting the center locking nut on the cylinder, as shown in Fig. G.
  • DO NOT ADJUST THE SLIDING SHAFTS [As indicated in Fig. B]
  • Tag Fastener not ejecting out fully from the Needle
    a. Check if the input air supply is correct.
    b. Check air pressure setting in the air-regulator on the unit. Increase the same if required.
    c. Check the flow control valves. Open the rear/forward flow control valves to increase air flow in the cylinder, in order to speed up the tag gun trigger action.
    d. Check the position of the tag gun. Ensure there is a slight gap between the puller-shaft of the unit and the tag gun trigger.
    e. Check the needle. Replace if is damaged.
    f. Check the tag gun. Replace if is damaged.
  • Tag fastener jumping back from the tag gun.
    a. Air pressure may be more than required. Reduce it in the air regulator on the main unit.
    b. Air flow may be more than required. Reduce it on the flow control valves located on the cylinder.
  • Unable to set required pressure.
    a. Check your input air supply.
    b. Check for any leakage in the air regulator.
